Mt Holly-Smithville GP – NE Grand Prix
It was a hot day for racing at the Mt. Holly Grand Prix this July 19th 2008 but a 140 elite racers still showed up to win thus grand event. The course is a grueling 2.2 technical course with eight turns and two steep climbs. It was a fast and furious race, and a small breakaway developed with right combination of riders. With a few laps to go, Euris Paulino of Champion System/Cycles Gladiator formed a chase group and caught the breakaway, finishing 7th Overall, the Sprinters Jersey, and the White Jersey for the best performing Under 25 Rider in this star studded field of Pros. A great job done by our team! It is not easy racing against the pros with our budget, but it is sure fun. Congratulations to Euris Rafael Videt Paulino!

Floyd Bennett Field Racing Local News
Kudos to a 4th Place finish to Marc Adam, but we are sorry you crashed after the finish. Marc finished way ahead of Peleton, but there was a fight for points and a local favorite James Joseph, ran into by accident. We hope that your Road Rash heals soon.
