| June has been a very productive month for the Hells Kitchen Squad. The men and women have consistently placed in nearly every event they have participated in. Most recently Tom Bencivengo and Jason Beerman got 4th and 5th place finishes at the grueling Housatonic Hills Road Race.
Evelyn Heinbach and Tim Casey also took on the hills and placed well at the Whiteface Mountain Time Trial where Evelyn took 3rd and probably crushed many of the male competitors.
Monster cyclist and music enthusiast, Lane Herrick placed 2nd at the second hosted Kissena Race, 2nd at Floyd Bennet Field and 9th at the Harlem Criterium. We expect to see more monster results from this cyclist in the coming months ahead, look for him at Altoona.
Rennie and Ray Alba both have seen good fortune this month with team placings, Ray getting 5th place at the Dick Amaducci Classic with the Pros, and Rennie getting 9th place in the Prospect Park Grand Prix where the average speed was 28 MPH. That is what happens when you mix up the amateur fields with pros returning for the US PRO CHAMPIONSHIP.
Scott Snyder, another new addition to the team got 2nd in the category 4 field at the CVC Evasham Classic in Marlton NJ and then did the masters field, to place their as well.
And for our cyclists that do Triathlons as well. Tim Oakes has rocked the house at both the Bear Mountain and New York City Triathlons.
The team is having a great season and we anticipate more great things to come.
