The 12 lap event on a 2.2 mile circuit was completely dominated by the Hell's Kitchen boys from lap 1. Riding very agressively, Ray Alba and Tom Bencivengo set the pace and routinely attacked the field to keep the tempo hard to basically break the legs of the field. At times in the event, Ray Alba, Lane Herrick and Tom Bencivego were on breaks together and it seemed as if the event would be a 1/2/3 finish for Hell's Kitchen. After many attempts of one us trying to get away Lane Herrick coming into turn 3 of the last lap launched an attack. Ray Alba, having strength to cath his teammate pysched the field into thinking that we can catch Lane's move all while I was really slowing the pace down. As a result Lane Herrick won the race.

Unfortunately, as a result of Lane Herrick saying "F***ing A" in jubilation for his win, our win was relagated to 5th place. We are now protesting this action by the officials.
